Covered Bridge Scenic Byway (Ohio)This is a featured page

Running between the southeastern Ohio towns of Marietta and Woodsfield, Route 26 (a.k.a. The Covered Bridge Scenic Byway) charts a twisting 47-mile path through Wayne National Forest, which provides a canopy of sycamores, silver maples and box elders. There are several historic covered bridges along the way for a nice time-warp effect of a bygone era.
