Old Canada Road (Maine)

Running from the Canadian border to the town of Solon on U.S. 201, this 78-mile byway showcases the rugged, unspoiled Maine countryside, with forests enveloping the road’s northern section and rivers running alongside the highway to the south. You can also get out of the car and hike part of the famed Appalachian Trail, which crosses the roadway just north of Caratunk.
